    Help corsa c help needed

    my friend has a corsa c , she has been using the radio without the engine ticking over , shes ran the battery flat and she bump started it but nothing else works , does anyone have any idea what could be the cause of this ? there is no lights on the clocks , there is no revs when pressing the accelerator , nothing works its just ticking over , and then when you cut the engine it wont start again

    disconnect the battery and charge it properly, if the battery is charged disconnect it for 20 mins reconnect ecu and dash should reset, if not remove clocks and spray electrical contact cleaner ( not wd40 ) on the dash connector, if this dosnt work may have blown the dash you would need to scan with op-com or similar

    I expect the reason none of the electronics are working is because the battery is so flat it simply can't power them up, and even though your alternator may well be making the minimum voltage required to charge at tickover it certainly won't be making the current.

    Charge the battery properly and I expect it will all work again.
    Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
    Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of your car
    Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
    Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it
