Adobe Issues

Hi Guys

After a bit of help and or advice
Wife has started doing Avon and is going at it in a big way. She has been sent marketing packs etc in a PDF format. I have adobe acrobat x pro but im not that great with it.
Basically she is wanting one of the PDF to have a clickable link to her online brochure for promoting offers etc.
I have created the tiny url and can get the link into the PDF itself however when she sends the PDF file out in an email it is not saving the click link in it for some reason. It isn't actually saving any of the text etc we have put into the file at all.
I am saving it after I have done the additions but cant figure out why it isnt working.

Any advice would be great

Do you have reader or Acrobat mate? Acrobat is used to altering and creating the PDFs, the reader is free and used to read the PDFs.

I've not messed with altering PDF's for so long but just managed to do what you're describing with Adobe X Pro. Saved OK, and I emailed it to myself and the file I received was OK too.
No restrictions in place anywhere, such as email client?

I'm a bit confused that a created PDF file that you have saved is reverting back to it's original form after you've emailed it out. Is that what you're saying?
You are actually saving the file first and not emailing from within Adobe?

Yeah that's what I'm saying.
Can I email you 2 versions of it the original and an altered one?

Try saving it and not emailing from within Adobe mate.

If it's any help, I have edited a lot of PDF's using Foxit PDF editor.... leaves out a lot of the stuff you don't need when just doing simple edits like you are doing..
I have never had any problems using that... as expected you will find it in the usual places ;-)

Easier than Adobe Pro I found

Mate - the first link works and I can see all the writing (in pink) with your missus mobile number and name.
Fucking thing crashed Adobe a few times though before I got it to open, but once opened, everything seemed to work OK.

Yeah, the top one does - the whole thing is repeated isn't it.
The second one is exactly the same only the link doesn't work.
