    Default Missing Malaysia airlines plane.

    Half expecting the missing Malaysia airlines plane to suddenly reappear on the radar with the crew reporting that nothing strange has taken place and its only been two hours since they took off. Would like to see the experts explain that one. Reminds me of Stephen king's Langoliers where the plane has slipped out of sync with our timeline. Anyone else had similar thoughts or is it just me? havent thought about it but now that you mention it, that would get my attention, that would also be the best case scenario at the moment
    You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

    I was wondering if someone had managed to find a way to disable the radar tracker. Could be parked on a runway somewhere remote. I know the search area is big but seems unusual that no wreckage has been found yet given the size of the aircraft.

    The plane's transponder can easily be switched off from the cockpit

    something is odd about this, I cannot say its a cover up as it seems the whole world is watching and half of it is searching, but the relatives and family
    are reporting that they could still ring the mobile phones of the passengers up until sunday, long after it would have fallen out of the sky.

    if people can ring then surely mobile tracking can help plot/pinpoint the probable position.

    Default Missing Malaysia airlines plane.

    The military are now saying it was last seen a hundred odd miles from where they're looking, on the other side of Malaysia in a different bit of sea. - straight of Malaca - one if the worlds busiest shipping lanes! How can that have happened without it being noticed by civil authorities? Complete telemetry failure?

    Malaysia Airlines is investigating claims the co-pilot on its missing plane invited women into the cockpit during another flight.

    TV Mini-series/Movie in the making here.

    Let's be honest about it, they are all dead. If it was a hijacking and they were still alive, then demands would have been set already.
    Chances are it could have been:

    * Mechanical/Technical Failure
    * Crazy suicide hijacking
    * Someone of significant importance was on the plane
    * Aliens abducted the plane
    * It never actually took off, some work experience guy jotted down the incorrect info
    * One of the best practical jokes/game of hide and seek in history..
    * They are in the next door neighbours loft (or uncles house)
    * Pilot has stopped off in Portugal for some Tapas just down the road

    I think the first point is the most likely.. Good chance people are aware and covering it up at the moment to avoid grounding flights.
    We all make mistakes sometimes

    Thanks to Goldberg

    KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- The Malaysian military says it has radar evidence showing the missing Boeing 777 jetliner changed course and made it to the Malacca Strait, hundreds of miles away from the last location reported by civilian authorities.
    The development injects new mystery into the investigation of the flight's disappearance.
    Local newspaper Berita Harian quoted Malaysian air force chief Gen. Rodzali Daud as saying radar at a military base had detected the airliner near Pulau Perak, at the northern approach to the strait.
    A high-ranking military official involved in the investigation confirmed the report on Tuesday and also said the aircraft was believed to be flying low.
    The official spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the information.

    I think the aircraft is on the 'island' along with Jack, Hurley, Sawyer and Locke. Look out for the smoke monster though!!

    If there was a serious technical failure but the pilot managed to put down in the water without too much damage. With the plane remaining virtually intact apart from relatively small cracks which left water in and air out, Wouldn't it just sink without trace? Strange that they didn't send out a distress call though and the reports that passengers mobile phones are still connected, if that report is true. Even if a mobile phone was still dry in someones baggage it wouldn't have a signal out there in the middle of the ocean let alone under it. (">

    No such thing as a 'water landing'. It's a crash............into water.

    I didn't say 'water landing' I said "put down in the water" call it a crash with some control - a crash landing? In that scenario is it possible for that type of plane to remain virtually intact? (">
