View the 'Day' in Outlook Meeting requests

Could be something our company is limiting us too? But I cannot see the option to show me the 'Day' in meeting requests.
Sometimes I just don't have the energy to look at the calender, I would like it in the request if possible.

As I thought, their bloody security etc...
They want me to upgrade to the very very latest outlook. I keep killing the application that does the updates as it is too much hassle.

Don't know why they are so paranoid.. Recently they have stopped Lync from storing conversations in Outlook.. An absolute ballache!
You wouldn't think that they are one of the top IT companies in the world. But often is the case in companies like this.

It's not a restriction I know of...

There's no "hide the day of the week" option in Exchange Server AFAIK.

It's not a hiding of that function, it is the fact they hide so many other things that it is likely to have been taken away due to that.
