The 7,. betas made battery life better for me, and so far 7.1 RTM has been the same so far.

Sometimes you can fix battery drain by doing a full backup, then do a DFU restore to the latest version and restore your data that way. In the past I had one that was playing up big time - it would be down below 50% after a couple of hours and it turned out it was a previous jailbreak that had left something behind that was killing it as CPU was running at 100% constantly. Did the above about two years ago and never had to do it since!

I noticed some of the apps that use Location Services are on all the time now.
Foursquare for certain... previously you could run it without Location Services always been on. After the update it is on 100% of the time or at least the icon is.

Guys my daughter has an Ipod 4th gen, does anyone know how to force IOS 7 on to this? I find this very odd that Apple didnt do this model as they went with the crappy Iphone 4 8GB which is gumf.

This has miffed me too. I am in the market for a 30pin iPod Touch for my 'set up' but the lack of the latest OS 7.1 on the device has put me off.
It was only yesterday that I was wondering if anyone had managed to do some magic on a JB one?
