We have some awesome news for HTC One owners, you peeps can now play with Sense 6. HTC is all set to debut Sense 6 on the yet to be released All New HTC One. Sense 6 rom for HTC One is called Sixth Sense and is based on the rom dump from All New HTC One aka HTC M8. The peeps over at xda have been sitting on the rom port for quite some time now due to legal issues from HTC but the rom has been leaking left and right. We ourselves had been sitting on a rom download link for the last 3 days but decided not to leak it as it would have been unfair to the developers who worked hard to port Sense 6 to the HTC One.
Anyways, coming back to the rom. Well it’s super stable and the only thing not working is motion gestures introduced by HTC in Sense 6. Just so that you know enabling ART is causing the device to not boot so please do not enable ART.

Seems to work fine. Camera app seems to be an improvement. The zoe stuff doesn't work but I never use that. Will do for now until there is a Rom from one of the big developer's.

There are loads on xda now that the M8 is out. I've been using this one for weeks now and its great.

will look into rooting and get this sorted as it seemed a lot harder than s4

Is there a guide on how too... is there compatibility issues with some apps like you get when you jailbreak iPhones?

Rooting is fair easy, you have to get familiar with fastboot cmds but it's pretty straightforward. This might help? http://www.xda-developers.com/androi...-developer-tv/

The HD Revolution Rom should be a good one, I'd check what the prerequisites are as some roms need a certain type of recovery. As long as you've got that it's as easy as downloading rom to your phone and rebooting into recovery and install zip from sd card.

I might give this a go.

got an M7 currently running AOSP, was previously on CM11 and stock HTC rom before that.

The only fault I have had since coming away from the OEM rom is that the volume of the speakers isnt the same. maybe it's just me but it's not as loud on wither CM11 or AOSP, has anyone else experienced this?

I think custom roms do turn the volume down as on the stock rom the jump from no sound to the quiest it can be is massive.
