    Is extinction worse than slaughter?

Personally - Given the choice of a stressful slaughter or never have being born. I'd take the latter.

And let's not pretend that the slaughter is not painful. I'd rather be a realist about it. I eat meat. I am valuing my indulgence of meat above the value of an animals life. But... I am not pretending to love animals while eating one.

I highly recommend the film Earthlings to all the meat eating, animal lovers, out there.

    Right, let's try something here.

If animal lovers are vegetarians, then does that mean that actual vegetarians, the ones who eat vegetables, love vegetables so much that they in fact eat meat...

    Mind fuck I know..

I used I work with some Indians that were not only vegetarian but also would not eat vegetables that you had to kill the plant to eat. So things like carrots/potatoes were off limits! How fucked up is that!

    Who invented this shit!

Brian, still upset? If Anthony has hidden his box, I have some bubble wrap I can send you.

Dogs show affection and like to spend time with people. Dogs eat meat. People are meat but dogs don't eat people... well not usually anyway. Our children are meat. We love our children. Even though we eat meat we don't eat our children... again there are exceptions to this rule.

Some animals are bred for their meat. Others have become human companions. There is a difference. I like animals in general but I thought the world of Taffy. not because he was an animal but because he was Taffy.

Humans are part of the animal kingdom but I would never eat a friend or relative, but I could possibly be tempted to eat Geko to prove my point that you can care for an animal and still eat another. (">

Not all vegetarians shun meat because they love animals. Some do it out of love for themselves.............

Also a lot of the animals who are domesticated are also predators and as a rule humans do not eat other predators.

exactly, always check first: "do you like meat in your mouth?"
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

Try stepping it up to vegan. They'll gargle your seed, snowball you and come back for seconds.

Do you have a problem with the facts Koreans breed dogs for meat. Or that some districts in China consume 10,000 dogs per year? To them that is livestock. They are bred for meat...!

Not really. Vegetables are not alive, in the common sense of the word.
