Need to be able to watch uk tv in Germany over wifi ?

Can it be done. At the moment I cant watch bbc iplayer or the like as my hotels wifi shows as being a german isp.

This is what I use when I go abroad, cancel auto paypal when I get home, so costs me 5 quid for a month

Lacutas that doesnt work over a hotel wifi. I tried a trial a couple of days ago.

It's probably worth trying the free trial here mate:

It's a DNS based service so not quite sure it would work behind a captive portal but worth a stab as you can then control via their website what region of the world you want to appear to be from.

I've tried them all as I have the same issues, and the best by a long shot is Overplay with Smart DNS. Its extremely easy to set up, just create an account, go to 'set up' and it will generate some DNS settings which you simply clip n past into your iPad wifi settings (or IP4 on your desktop) and voila, all UK services work and you benefit from full bandwidth (unlike VPN).
