    Advice Apple tv2

    Been trying for best part of a week to jb this device I know there are idiot guides out there but is there a fukwits guide it won't save my sig and seems to stop there any clues ?
    its a apple tv2 fw 5.3 using win 8.1

    Try using a different USB lead, took me until the third one to get it right. Shorter the better

    Which iOS are you on? I used this many moons ago when ATV2/XBMC was 'all the rage' (Pre-Android/XBMC Boxes).

    Well I finally got it jb and xbmc on it just trying to get some channels sorted now lol

    If you used the firecore method you can also instal plex. I used to use Xbmc but now only use plex.

    Firecore is the way forward, I bought that and it does all I need.
    I know your sorted now but I also had an issue with leads and ports on the laptop.

    Not really using it to it's full potential and there is a chance it might get moved on when the Amazon box hits these shores.
