Whine CDkeys selling Titanfall Season Pass

I feel a bit dumb, I was bored surfing the net the other night and stumbled over a link to cdkeys that had Titanfall Season pass for £18.90.
I had some cash in my paypal account burning a hole in my pocket and half a bottle of wine down my neck which turns me into a bit of a punter...
I new that it wasn't available yet but i needed to spend some money so went for it...
So today i got round to redeeming the code thinking when the Season Pass becomes available it will download to my xbox hd. Happy Days, this wasn't the case all i was doing was redeeming a £20 gift card labelled up as TF season pass.

I have had some good buys over at cdkeys in the past so can't really knock them but am i wrong in thinking this is false advertising as it's a £20 gift card labelled up as the Titanfall Season Pass?

I would get on to them and complain as this blatantly specifies it is a Titanfall season pass

Its better to burn out than to fade away...............

    Thanks to Hangman

Cheers Hangman, I thought it was just me missing something obvious....

Theirs no mention of it just being a £20 gift card that can be used against any purchase in that link yet when i asked the question over on there Facebook site this is basicly what she said.
Shit like this normally just goes over my head and i've not lost anything at the end of the day but i think it's a proper dodgy way of selling £20 gift cards.....

Hi Jonny,Just to clarify, Titanfall Season Pass is an Xbox L IVE currency. You may redeem the currency for the Titanfall Season Pass or for other. Hope this helps. Kind Regards, Amy DCustomer Support Repcdkeys.com

Their isn't one other than cdkeys selling £20 credit as a season pass to Titanfall....

As I said in my previous post I've not lost anything! I just think its a dodgy way of selling Microsoft credit disguised as the Titsnfall Season pass.
It's not what it says on the tin so to speak!

If you want to go the blame route you may as well attack ASDA, Sainsburys, Tesco etc as they sell game point cards for Call Of Duty DLC too which is or was gamer points to your account...

Its just advertising for the numb parents who don't know what to buy for their kid when they say they want Map packs for their fave game.

    Thanks to AD

We have a scanable card on display in work that is Titanfall Branded but gives £20 credit. Makes our bays look pretty. Helps people who want to buy Microsoft points still and look at you dumbfounded when you try to explain that this is how Microsoft credit works.
