Samsung & DMPort

I am getting my Samsung S5 next Friday but since ordering it I realise I wont be able to use my phone through my Sony surround sound system to listen to Spotify as its only for iPhone.

I was wondering, is there a Samsung DMPort adapter available? I have searched google etc and have come up with nothing. Will be gutted if I cant use my surround sound with my phone

Are you looking for a DMPort compatible docking solution or Bluetooth?

Either to be honest mate. I use spotify a lot of my surround sound and now realised I wont be able to due to the DMport being for iPhone only. Considering buying a cheap iPod touch to use on it but hoping for a cheaper solution.

Sony did produce a DMPort Bluetooth adapter, the TDM-BT1. I think its discontinued now but you may pick one up on Ebay. If not then one of the UPLAY Bluetooth Receivers should do the trick. I think you may have to wait awhile for a dock, the S5 is pretty new.

Thanks for the info. I checked out the bluetooth adapter and it is quite expensive for a used product, I could probably buy a iPod touch for less to use on the surround sound :O so are the UPlay.

Guess I will make a decision soon as I cant be without it
