Today, after my shift, I decided to travel to Caister, to photograph some WW2 Ruins that have recently been re-discovered on the beach. The ruins are that of a WW2 Pillbox. We recently had lots of flooding here in East Anglia, and the tidal surge washed away approx 10ft of sand, uncovering this WW2 relic, along with others.
Sadly the light just wasnt right for me to get any decent HDR shots of this fantastic piece of history, but it did allow for some off the rail normals shots.
I then travelled to Caister Castle on my way back to the ship, where i was able to get some HDR shots of the castle as the sun set. Hope you enjoy the shots.
i then decided to go and get pissed with the chief engineer. im still very drunk as of posting this.
