Just watched the second episode and I'm going to miss Charlie Runkle when this is all over - he's got to be one of the funniest characters ever created on TV!

You have my vote on that one, and I'll add that the brilliant tragicomedy that is Charlie Runkle wouldn't be as absurdly lovable without the magnificent Marcy as his muse. When I stopped laughing several minutes after the end of the second episode, I realized that the saying "Behind every great man is a great woman" does not hold true for Charlie. The story (arc) of his life adheres to a different formula, one I call the Runkle Corollary: Behind every great failure is too great of a woman.
