Virgin Media Speed Upgrades - You have to request it

Virgin Media announced last year that they were upping 60meg users to 100meg. I've just logged onto my account and I had the option to upgrade to 100meg so it looks like they aren't upgrading people just for the sake of it. It was 100% free with no extra contract etc. I just had to login and request it. Should have it in a few days apparently.

Anyone know what the upload speed is on 100meg? Hoping its faster than on 60meg as thats my biggest gripe.

Their upload speed is horrible (as you know). It used to be 1/8th of the download speed but that ratio seems to have changed. Don't know the answer to your specific question though.

i get around 8-10% upload on 120 meg

As much as I'd love the faster upload I can't justify the extra cost to pay for a move to infinity.

12 meg mate.. that's what I get on 100 and the same since I got raised to 120.. basically 10%
