    Default Farty Towels

and flowery twats. Probably my top two Fawlty Towers anagrams.

    Gen Intro:
My name is Cosmicpore, but my friends call me Jeremiah (I don't know why, its not even close to the name on my birth certificate). Born and raised in nowf wess landaan (although most of us are well spoken in those parts) and educated to a high degree in sciencey stuff. The more astute may notice my username is an anagram of a common apparatus I use (although the less astute will use an anagram unscrambler and find out anyone) (aint nobody got time fo dat).

    Hobbies:
I enjoy things that keep my fingers busy. Painting, drawing, typing, musicking and more recently, crochet. I have become quite accomplished at photoshop and vigorously enjoy subtly altering peoples eyebrows in PS before uploading the pics to facebook. It honestly gives me moments of fun. I watch an unhealthy amount of American TV series, my current favourites being Hannibal (having sadly said goodbye to BB) and Archer, bitch. I often listen to my best friends Scott and Chris (whoooo?) as a sleeping aid.

    Technical ability:
Moderately savvy. I have fixed a few laptops (bringing back a tea-soaked one from utter death was my finest moment) but can only do so with guidance. I rooted a nook glow last year (pointless btw) but have never had the confidence to root a phone.

Forum experience: Several misspent years in my teens. I have been both staff and member of several forums. I understand the general playground rules of them (do you kids still say 'flaming'?) and find them (on the whole) to be charming, supportive and unified places (although the latter can cross the line). Did you ever see that Derren Brown one about pack mentality?

I have been lurking on the forums for several years, time to get involved.

    Bai!

P.S. as much as I love Capaldi, I'm not all that convinced. Alan Cumming would have been interesting. He already looks like an alien.

Hi Cosmicpore... or should I call you microscope. I guess from your username and the post title that you like anagrams? Comprehensive and confident intro. Be sure to read the welcome message you received when you signed up. Forum etiquette is taken seriously here at DF. Keep within the rules and you should be fine. Also don't make the mistake that many do of increasing their post count with posts consisting of a few pointless words. Other than that welcome to DF.

I feel like I've known you for years! The perfect specimen of an intro. This should be 'stickied' in the intro section as a 'How-to'.

If new members could see how simple it is to make the first right impression. Only time will tell

Fankya folks. Getting totes emosh now. The forums have so much to offer and there are a lot of things I want to contribute to once I feel comfortable here. I hope to get to know people and in turn for people to know me a bit (and I'm sure it will happen with time). Fwends!

For now I will leave you with a picture of my cats reenacting that scene from the lion king.
