Custom Light Project made from main engine bearing shells

Im working on a project of making a lampstand out of welded together scrap main engine big end bearing shells.

Im after some LED plinth lights (or similar to fit in the holes). Hole diameter is 16mm, and I would prefer the LEDS to have a max depth of about 12mm or there would be too much protruding from the shells.

Ive looked in all the usual places and although I have found 15mm LED plinth lights, the depth is often 30-40mm which is too great for my requirements.

Anyone suggest anything similar? These shells are off to the welders tomorrow, then once I get it back, ill be polishing and painting it before wiring it up...
