Default living with lag - an oculus rift experiment

You wouldn't accept lag offline, so why do it online? ume.net, a fiber broadband provider that offers up to 1000 Mbit/s, performed an experiment. Four volunteers got to experience internet's biggest disturbance in real life - lag.

Funny video... and the picture too.

Although 1000mbps Internet wouldn't fix Lag... can't control the points beyond your connection and the server. Plus you could be gaming directly on a BF4 server and still get Lag and rubber banding

Yeah very nice commercial. But I agree with dpSparhawk the 1000 Mbit/s will not fix any online Lag maybe the offline one ;o).

They do a thing on Radio one where they put headphones on someone but with a very tiny delay and it totally messes up the persons speech, its strange who such a small delay can cause such issues.
