Outlook 2013 problem

I want to add my work email address to outlook 2013, I am running Windows 8.1 and have my work email address on the default mail app working ok.

But when it comes to adding it to outlook 2013 it just won't work, I have tried adding the mail server in advance settings and all that caper but still no luck :/ anyone got any ideas why it won't work?

Apparently outlook 2013 isn't compatible with server 2003 and I bet that's what we run at work. cheap arsed fuckers.
