I have now joined the road cycling fraternity after months of cycle to work wrangling.

My pride and joy. It's a Ridley R6, full Shimano Tiagra group set apart from the hubs.
First ride on it last week was ok, got a few pb's on Strava but not as quick as I was hoping. And my ass really complained about the harder seat! Been out a couple of times since and the speed is really ramping up now I'm getting used to the push AND pull of SPD's.
I've yet to have any SPD moments, thought it'd be harder, but so far I've remembered to unclip. Also improving my stability on the narrower bars compared to my MTB. It really is a different world and I'm loving it.
