Unlock iPhone 5c

Are there any problems with unlocking these?

Been offered a brand new one in the box on ee that I was thinking of getting as a present for my sister but she's on orange so just wanna make sure I don't get lumbered with a useless phone.

Orange is now a part of EE mate so I would imagine it will work ok as is, mobileman would be able to confirm.

should be fine mate, word of advice though if its in contract and owner doesn't pay bill it will get barred so make sure you know them
also get a checkmend report done on the imei and keep this just incase something should happen later on you would stand better chance of getting it lifted

Also in my experience of trying to unlock an iphone on orange, they are extremely reluctant to unlock. They insist you are the original owner blah blah blah. And make sure the device has been removed from the find my iphone feature or you won't be able to restore the phone without the original apple I.D the phone was set up with.
