Help finding information and values of old 45 rpms

grandparents have given me two cases of old 45 rpms to get shot off, but looking to see if there good for the bin, or if theres any rare / hard to get ones amongst the cases....

no barcode, and cant find a site like music magpie to compare on etc

has anyone for any useful advice etc, wife says to find a local old school music shop who might be able to shed some light, which is quite good, but most likely a dying breed with internet / hmv etc etc

    thanks in advance

    there's here: http://www.popsike.com/

Bit of advice taken from here: http://www.vinylrecordfair.com/price-vinyl-records.html
"How to Price and Value Vinyl Records

Vinyl records are not difficult to price. Not usually.
That's because there is a handy serial number etched into the vinyl that identifies it.
This serial number combined with a simple internet search can help anyone determine the value or price of a vinyl record.

Look them up on Gemm, musicstack, discogs and eBay.
Avoid music magpie and the like cos they're like those silly cash4gold services that offer you silly "offers" for them instead of an offer based on a valuation.

I have a 'Rare Record Price Guide' from a few years ago if you want to borrow it? Gives prices for all conditions etc a great reference guide.

Pay for the postage to you and send it me back and I will sort it out

Can't remember which my latest edition is but it is this

vinyl is either worth nothing or one or two will be valuable, check discogs - you might get more money by selling individually.

You might get lucky and find quite a few are valuable, in which case try find them on ebay and see if people are bidding on them.
