Network Camera Software

Recently purchased a Tenvis IP Camera.
Decent Camera, wireless and does what I need it to do. Problem is the software is shite.. I have set it all up and it works lovely, but the Tenvis Apps are not usuable if I am honest.
Yes you can view the camera, yes you can control it.. However it keeps 'timing out' on the connection to the camera and the screen never stays awake (general apps setting?).

I was hoping that another app could exist in the wild, I do not mind paying for it, that keeps the connection and screen alive.

I use Camviewer with my Tenvis on the ipad.
