    This handsome chap was in the garden, hiding away under a brick. Discovered by the wife as she tidied up the flower bed area, and notified to me by a shriek!

    That is an excellent capture. I need to get a decent macro lens. Can I ask how far away from the toad the camera was? I'm guessing its a crop from a wider shot? (">

    I use the same lens as Paul did for this but what his great macro shots prove is .. it's not the lens but the person behind it that makes the shot!
    Mind you it's great motivation to improve..

    The 100mm allows you to get 1 to 1 without breathing down the subjects neck, that's why I love the lens

    Hey Paul maybe you could create a tutorial on how you get such great shots? I, for one, would be first in the queue :-)
