Hi Guys,
i bought a pi a while back, and put on xbmc and openelec (3.06 image) and added the usual plugins. I tested this at my sisters place (who then kept the pi!). Didnt have any buffering issues, and it works a dream. She is on sky broadband (not fibre)
I finally got around to replacing it, and built it again using the latest open elec build of 3.2.4. Did the usual pluging - icefilms in particular, and it is buffering all over the place. Can only watch 1-2 minutes before it buffers. I was using an 8gb sd card, and btinfinity.
So, did some research, and tried the usb option - put in a 8gb usb, following the instructions to use that as storage, and even added a advantagesettings.xml file - but still loads of buffering issues. have also tried overclocking, but xbmc responds very quickly, (and now gets very hot!)
So, does anyone out there have btinifinity, and a pi with xmbc installed that doesnt stutter using icefilms.
I need to see if any other plugings buffer as much - will try iplayer next.
thanks in advance
