I have only just got in and seen this on the news and logged on here to post the video in support of cats everywhere (I've had cats as well as dogs and have a very friendly cat now) only to find someone beat me to it. I may like all animals especially dogs (and cats a very close second) but I agree that the dog should be put down for what was a totally unprovoked attack. Still no reason to condemn all dogs because most dogs make fine family pets and there are hundreds of stories where a dog has come to the rescue.

If you thought for one minute I would come on here to defend the dog in this case then you don't know me at all. My defense of animals is against the suffering that humans cause them by thinking they have some god given right to destroy or hurt them for no good reason. (">
