[QUOTE=DejaVu;3766477]This sounds like it's getting more and more technical, but I've now got the funds and the go-ahead with this and will be ordering everything I need today.

So what your saying MobileMan, is to buy a Bluetooth Handfree kit... like the Parrot (because I've heard of it) and set it up somewhere central in the Caravan.
The Parrot has it's own aerial connected to the outside of the caravan? Preferably a decent aerial from Co-Star like this one.

yes parrot setup with external antenna

check that Antenna its not 3G @ 2100 mhz

Then, when she walks into the Van, the phone connects to the Parrot via bluetooth, which gets it's signal from outside via a decent Yagi ariel. yes

She can then Portable Hotspot Tether (Wifi) her Laptop to the phone which should also be getting the signal from outside the van using the Parrots aerial?
yes but will need to double check that you can run connected to bluetooth and as a wifi hotspot at the same time which is going wifi to wifi and phone is bluetooth to car kit via data connection

Would this 'rocket' from solwise do the job? Will connect to campsite wifi and boost it.

Wouldn't want to tempt you outside the BST, but if it ticks all the boxes above and you can't recommend it enough, it maybe something I maybe interested in tempting you to sell.

Nope. Unfortunately not. The clubhouse has a Free Wifi Hotspot for all residents (Web only - obviously), but it's too far from the caravan to use or extend.
    Hi m8,

It is purely for data (3G) it is basically a huge amplified 3G dongle.

(I have recently sold my spare)

If the device is a 3G (2100MHz) repeater then thats all ti will extend.

I can't say for certain for other networks but on 3 they do voice and data on 2100MHz so it should work. I think O2 do voice on 900 and data on 2100 - but that may be wrong.

    Thanks to connormill
