I've had a few over the recent years up there .. pulled one out the other day and I coulda used the fucker as 13amp fuse wire!
I read somewhere that pulling out nose hairs was a bad thing, something to do with breaking the skin up there and risk of infection.

Bought one from the pound shop that looked very similar to Raps link, not a Phillips obviously and not very good .. but no shock really for a quid.
Might give that Phillips on Amazon a go

Tried that Nads wax shit today and all I can say is if it worked for you and didn't hurt, you must have nose hair like a babies because I yelped like a bitch and looked like a cross between Phil Cool and Edward & Tubbs from A League Of Gentlemen.

Admittedly, my nose hair is like wire wool, but fuck me what a palaver for not great results, loads of cleaning up and then having to do the job properly with the Philips.

Last time I listen to you lot.. Leave all that waxing bollocks to the birds!

Now I'm confused as to what to do, seems to work for one and not the other.

Andmor says he uses a different wax that his missus has, so maybe that's worth looking at.

Mine looked like the pic above too, but loads of hair left behind as well, and those were full of wax that I had to cut out with tiny scissors. Right ballache.
Instructions say you've to trim the hair first but I didn't. Kinda defeats the point, but worth mentioning as maybe it's not supposed to be suitable for the full job.

Yeah, the hard type wax that comes with waxing kits is much better.

The photo above is when i used the Nad's wax. The difference between the wax's is that the Nad's one becomes rock hard in a much shorter time meaning that correct timing is needed when pulling out as if it has set too hard it becomes brittle and can snap off and leave bits stuck up your hooter, as in Zoots case.

The wax i use now stays supple for much longer. 90 secs is long enough for it to set to pull hairs out and when out you can peel the wax off the applicator in one lump and bin it, leaving the applicator clean of wax.

What's the one you use now?
I'm prepared to give it another go if you reckon its worth it. I hate drilling about with the clipper..

Our lass bought a waxing kit a while ago and it came with 2 types of wax, the one where you use strips to pull the hairs off your legs etc and another (the hard type) which requires no strips to use as you pull it off when it hardens. The hard type is the one i use for my nose using one of the applicators that came with the Nad's kit.

According to our lass most waxing kits come with both types of wax.

Edit: this is like the one she has.. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/4427861.htm

Ah right. I'll maybe look for some of the hard wax then. Must be able to get it separately.

How do you heat this stuff up? I wouldn't mind trying to rip out some nose thatch if it lasts longer but I'm not bothered enough to buy some sort of a kit.
No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...

I just like randomly plucking me nose while stuck in traffic, every now and again I get a proper thick one. I call them "spiders legs" and these days the odd "albino spiders leg"
