it a pity as colour blindness is not something you can counter with practice either :-(

Theres some good free eye test for most of the smart phones nowadays might be worth downloading one of those and seeing the sort of scores you get?

15 questions and you have 10 mins to answer based on gears rotating anti clockwise and wise which is faster a small gear or large ect.... Pictures of angles which is stronger and so on it's pretty easy mate then there is a psychological profile test you need to answer 128 statements about your
Views and work behaviour same questions repeated like 10 times but different working and you need to remember what you said before lol bit of a headache good luck

Get some 6 wire telephone cable and see if you can identify the pairs (Blue/Orange/Green). Another possible colour test they may do is wiring a 13 amp plug. I just had a look at the job advert, £19k a year for a 40 hour week... looks like the pay's gone down (relative to inflation) and the hours have gone up since I was there.

    Thanks to MHP

I banged in a CV for one of these positions last week, hoping to time it with a redundancy payout from HP,so quite alarmed to see this is going on 8 months. Hoping my HNC in Communications Engineering will help with getting through the CV stage, but the salary is indeed quite alarming...I grossed 40k last year, so the thought of dropping to 22k is not great, despite clearing the mortgage and debts with the dundo payout.

Well, 22k isn't great, but its a darn site greater than JSA, that's how I look at it.
After 23 years in an office, I rather like the idea of getting a van and going somewhere different every day.

True, but I bet the novelty would wear off after you are questioned on why you deviated from the designated route as the vans are tracked.
