    Default gumtree

I really don't get peoples way of thinking sometimes... had a Dell 19" monitor on there for 20 quid. some guy emails me along if I would swap it for a tablet with a broken screen????

wtf would I want a broken tablet for? granted it could have been an ipad, but most likely wasn't..

would cost me more to repair the fucking thing than what i'm asking for, for the monitor

some people are a lost cause these days

I know what you mean.. I have a 24" LG monitor that just got replaced by a 27" and it's sitting here because I don't think it's worth the hassle to do the same

Just make it obvious and also ironic how you hijack the thread to make it about you.. Just like the people who thanked you in that thread.

Get your facts right. Macmilm highjacked the gumtree thread,in post 5. Yet you decide to hijack a tribute to Bald Bouncer, Fuck me. How selfish and ignorant can you be? If I could thank Cyprus twice, I would.

As per Black Belts post. If the first off topic post you see in this thread is the one by Cyprus it seems you have been utterly blinded you numb fuck.

I've found a lot of timewasters on Gumtree recently, seems to be getting worse. When selling an iPhone a number of people would commit to meeting me somewhere and simply not show.

That thread post has now being deleted. Anymore off topic ones to get reactions will also be Deleted.

All back on topic otherwise this will get into yet another spoiled thread.

    Back on Topic

I have never used gumtree but from the people I know its riddled with scammers and people trying to do a fast one. I have no need to use it TBH

You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

I have used Gumtree a couple of times to buy stuff and had a great experience.

My brother tried to sell his VW High top van once on it - he was based on the south coast and had about 5 different people phone him up asking if he could drive it to London so they could take a look !?!?!?!?!

Couple of years back I almost bought a HTC One smartphone from some hoodrat in Enfield, I arrived at the address which turned out to be a bus stop outside the address in question. He was there with his girlfriend who looked off her face on smack, with dark rings round her eyes and a constant snivel. It was obviously hot, but I played along. So where's the box, how much warranty is left, is it locked etc..?

'Look mate, stop fucking me abaaaht, this ain't Dixons'. He wanted £250, so I offered him £100 which elicited a scowl followed by 'fucking go on then'.

I then thought better of it and walked, with him and his junkie girlfriend hurling abuse at me. Never used Gumtree since.

I once bought tickets on there for red bull x fighters (out of desperation). Met the bloke in a pub close to the event, got wristbands from him and they turned out to be staff bands so we got queue jump entry to the bit with the bars etc (where you can't see the event) but they didn't grant us access to the stands. Fortunately there were several entry points so I just blogged my way in at another point which turned out to be the best view in the whole place but it meant we couldn't leave that area to get more beer or take a piss...

I've come across a number of Gumtree scams whilst living in London. From the straight up nicked latest phone on offer or alternative no actual phone and just mug you when you arrive knowing you must have cash on you to the flat rent scam, they get the keys to a flat that's not there's and offer it for rent through the pages of Scumtree, taking a deposit from everyone who wants it, of course on the day of move in there are a load of confused want to be tenants at the front door.
