Thanks for all your hard work BB, on most issues (especially politics) I can't agree with you more as you dissect through the crap, hysteria etc.. With scalpel like precision. With regards to forum politics, I don't tend to get too involved, but I've always thought you even handed and fair. Anyway, thanks again and enjoy the rest.

Absolutely top geezer, I was a customer of his back in the day and he has worked tirelessly here as admin. I have watched closely over the last couple of years to see just how he assessed our new joiners and learned loads. Don't be a stranger mate.

Hopefully BB will just take a well earned break and then come back recharged. Always firm and fair imho....it must be frustrating having to keep dealing with the same stuff from the same people day in day out...I could imagine that to be very tiresome.

Problem is there will always be some fucker out there to balls it up for us all, BB did his job well and I for one hope he reconsiders his choice.

I know what it's like to run and maintain a forum and also a past mod here and I hope that members see what the outcome of there actions can cause for staff and members.

ive come and gone here on DF but regardless of what's said now or in the past DF is and always be my home.

I've always found Bald Bouncer to be a top bloke, helpful, knowledgeable, and bang on my wavelength with a similar sense of humour.

Always fair from an admin perspective, never heavy handed but not afraid to swing the ban-hammer as mentioned previously that's often what's needed with the likes of the little drama queens that pop up on here.

Take a break from the admin side of things and enjoy the nuts and bolts of the forum mate. Hopefully if you do that and get more fun out of it you'll see coming here as less of a chore.

Btw BB, if you can sort me out that Radio Code when you get 5 minutes it would be appreciated

BB I didnt know you but I have been a moderator on another forum and I know what hard work it is and how it seems you get little to no thanks for all your own time you put into it so I would like to thank you for all your own dedicated time and effort.

I am a mod and admin on other forums and it is a thankless job and always get people moaning, some people just dont know how to act online and think they can do and say what they want because they are sitting behind a keyboard, very poor etiquette imho but you will always get them. I am still a relatively new member but BB I thank you for what you have done during my time here and the others that mod and admin, dont let your life become consumed with it.

its a sad situation,
it takes lots of devoted volunteers to keep a forum as big as this running smoothly, i was once honoured with a SMOD position - sometimes it felt like running a primary school playground- i sure wouldnt of wanted admin position.

BB served so well in the role and i for one am very sorry that he feels he must step down, i hope that after a short break will reconsider and come back as admin - or even SMOD.
the whole admin & moderator team here do a fantastic job and will continue to do so - i just feel that the DF membership as a whole (some much more than others) has let down a very hardworking and respectable member.

Bloody hell...first thing that came to mind when I saw the post title was that Bald Bouncer had died! Glad to hear he's very much alive. Much respect to him and all the others who keep this forum running. Hardly post on here, but my daily routine has to include a visit to DF. Learnt so much from here in the past.

Sad Loss of a Brother, I can call you a friend although ive never met you. You have been fair and just and I have always looked up to you. You Helped make Df a place of respect. I see things have been going steady downhill for a while now, maybe its the sign of the times who knows. But if we loose people like BB things will not as much fun and moderated as good
