A bee, a surprise visitor and Pretty in pink?

I'll admit, I did invert the leaf here to get a better angle on the bees eye.

As you can see, it's not quite in the best position from this perspective. Colourful BG though.

It then offered me a wonderful portrait opportunity

This Damsel popped in for a fleeting visit. It's the first time I've seen a Damsel in my garden. Perhaps someone has a pond nearby. I hope to see more.

In the park near my house, mainly around the lake, I see hundreds and hundreds of those bright blue Damsels. They are so difficult to photograph with just a P&S or phone camera.
