+1 for Three. I got the Sim only internet 600 deal £12.90pm, 600 mins, unlimited data and 5000 texts for £12.90 pm. Been with them for 5 years now.
Been with Virgin for 3 years and was going to leave them so they gave me a £7 discount every month I didn't even push for it.
So now I get unlimited everything + some other extras for £10.
I'm never gonna use these kinds of amounts, but it's nice to know I don't have to worry about it.
Three have managed to finally roll out 4G to my area... and fuck me it's great.
It's faster than Fibre from BT can offer for my area! (58Mb).
Three averages around 66Mb off-peak. All-You-Can-Eat too. RESULT.
I'm stuck with O2 as their signal is the best in my area and I have a boostbox in my office. I only have 1GB data but that has been fine for me over the past 2 years as there is wifi most places now and I have BT wifi accounts.
I get 4g on three in Gloucester. I have one bar of signal but get a solid 30Mb line speed. Only my iPad is on three now so we used it as our internet (with the connection sharing) before our dsl was connected, but it's actually double the speed of our wired net.

I tend to use my phone 4G to tether for any quick downloads I want. Currently get 5gb a month. 4G on O2 round my area is pretty quick, although I don't notice any real difference in opening Web pages really. Although I can now get full signal inside old Trafford which is impossible under 3g. Attachment 29159

I'm currently on vodafone but the signal is patchy and data is rubbish around milton keynes and where i am working.
I got an EE mobile Wifi for when at work and that works well, I was on three years ago and had endless problems but reading this makes me think I should look at them again.
How do people find the all you can eat data ?

Thinking of getting three's £15 sim only deal in December when my o2 contract ends.

Conservatives. Putting the 'N' into Cuts.
I'm on 3's "SIM 300 1 month" contract which was £13.50 when I started - has probably increased slightly by now but my last bill was £15.35.
That's 300 minutes, plus 300 3 to 3 minutes, unlimited data and 3000 texts.
Worth considering.
No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...
that sounds tasty to be honest. All you can eat data, does that work with downloading via torrents on your phone if there is tethering restrictions.

I added unlimited tethering to my account before I moved house. It went from £15 to £18 a month but was a good move for me as I can only get 3mb around this area. I get 18mb on HSDPA.
July was a good month for me
BBrand if it's all on the phone it's fine although when I hit around 50gb of phone data (newsgroups) I got a warning about tethering and lost all data until the phone was put in airplane mode. A phone call to customer services sorted that and contined to use the newsgroups on the phone for another 7GB until the month was up.
Roll on September 30th when fibre is rolled out. There is 4g in the area but I'm in a spot where it doesn't reach.
