Been waiting for these...
Wonderful sky you had at the time Ian and picking up great reflections in the water.
Iconic, but you did it justice.
Paul.

amazing shots, looks like where they filmed the first highlander movie
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

Cheers Paul, Mystical
We had awesome weather for the trip except when we got to Skye which despite being still dry, clouded over in the typical manner of British weather so light was very flat so don't have anything from there (apart from the Skye Bridge which I'm posting shortly).
Mystical, it is the castle from Highlander

I uploaded a mobile version to Facebook last week and got people trying to guess the movie. A few thought it was from Entrapment but that's Castle Duart

Cracking pics, I've been there about 4 times now. Stayed just across the bridge where the outdoor shop is (if its still there). That castle is the most photographed castle in Scotland and looks amazing at night too. Its really good inside aswell, like a labyrinth of rooms but I think its quite pricy to get in.
If nature always takes the easiest route, what's easier...?
The creation of billions of galaxies each containing trillions of stars each with their own solar systems, some with planets that have evolved civilisations with billions of different life forms. OR The creation of just your imagination?

Thanks Soul.
We'd stayed at the Cluanie Inn a few miles down just off Loch Cluanie. I would have liked to have gone in but we had a date with the Talisker distillery lol. Love my Single Malts. That said, we did actually do the glass bottom boat tour just before crossing the bridge. Past the old ship wreck etc.
I plan on taking my son to the Bothy and then to Skye etc. next year. He'll be 7 then and he likes castles as it is so think he'd enjoy Eilean Donan .
must go one day nice
