Help tips on world cup players for dream team required please

    Guys

I've been roped into choosing a dream team at work. a mini league has been created and a few of us are doing teams through the sun website.
I dont really follow football, but as I dont want to come last, can anyone recommend any players to put in there?

I know the obvious ones like messi etc, just wondered if there are any players not so well known on the world stage that will get me some points..

Look at players in teams you think will do well i.e. Spain, Belgium, Brazil etc. as when a team exits the cup you won't earn points for any of their players.

Look at what your players will score points for..

For me Aguero is a must - Argentina are one of the favourites to win it and you have to fancy him to score a few against Iran and Nigeria (and to a lesser extent Bosnia).
For similar reasons I am going with Dzeko up front.

For midfield - your looking for goal scoring teams that can keep a clean sheet - id suggest looking at Germany or Spain for these players, but Fred at Brazil is a good shout for goals.

For defence / goal keeper its all about clean sheets. I always take a gamble and chose the goal keeper and two defenders from one team - that way if its pays off and the team gets the clean sheet, I get three times the points. It doesnt always pay off tho!

    Good Luck!

Don't forget you get 2 transfer windows so you could pick your first team based on who might smash a few in during the group stages and if someone gets knocked out you will get 4 transfers per window.
