Most weeknights about 6 although I always wish I could have a bit more.

Yes sorry I was so knackered I didn't type properly. Last night (Sunday) next door had her mate round and my night went something like this:
1) loud chatting and laughing meant I didn't drop off until 1:30
2) I was woken up at 3:30 by some clattering in a cupboard
3) after drifting off again I was woken at 4:30 with them having a loud conversation in the back garden so I shouted out the air brick "it's fucking half four!"
4) nod off at 5:30
5) alarm goes off at 6:10, snooze
6) alarm goes off at 6:18, get up iron a shirt and trousers and just about get to work on time
7) 14:10 fall asleep in a meeting

I've been round there twice tonight but no answer to my knocking. I'll be there as soon as I get back from work tomorrow.

Try setting routines before going to bed - dont use computer/tv (hypocrisy there), dimmer lighting. Just follow the same 30-45 min routine before bed. Also only use your bed for sleeping or shagging and in that way your mind associates it with sleeping or you'll get a boner...
