Apparently a different group is ready to release something (not all that in the know myself either) to counter wiikeys efforts, not sure if its some sort of softmod, from what i read they wernt happy with the way wiikey are charging so much
Ive grabbed mk8 already, but at 25gb a go ive not got the space to store these at the moment,

the other group is working on a webkit exploit, the exploit got leaked last weekend and is now officially released.
Long way to go IMO, but these things can move rapidly as more developers get involved.
as for the releases, think they are USA only and uncompressed.
