Woke up this morning, switched the TV on, turned the AMP on... flashing green standby light. Flashes 9 times, then stays solid, but the display remains blank and nothing else happens.
I've reset the Microprocessor - standby button and hold surround A+B buttons. No joy.
I've also been onto Denon who have explained its out of warranty and a repair could cost in the region of £200. It's in 'Protection' mode after my daughter decided to have a little bit of music loader than usual last night with her mates.
Unplugging all cables usually gets it out of protection mode, but not in this case. Denon says it's probably overheated - GREAT!
Anyone got experience of troubleshooting these things? Know where I might obtain a service manual? Know of a reasonably priced repair shop?
I'm not scared of fixing it myself, but need to know where to start!
Mentions of the Amplifier Board needing replacing has been mentioned, but I'm not even sure which one that is... Physically examined all fuses, seem OK, but will check continuity a bit later when I get home.
Help, as always, massively appreciated.
