    Help SuperfastPC.exe Problem

Just came across this on a laptop, not seen it before,
have hunted the web & found a few guides to remove it, they all say use:
    programs & features to uninstall....done
    1, adwcleaner_3.211 as admin ...done
    2, JRT.as admin......................done
    3, hitman pro.as admin............done
    & last malwarebytes....done

still no joy, anyone here seen it or removed it.

This is a good example of why I don't bother trying to fix virii - just backup critical data then reinstall.

ye looks like i will do factory reset & format.
looks like i got rid, after running all those tools JRT removed 3 exe files, one from each web browser(explorer, Firefox & chrome)
i then went into prog files & deleted the SuperFastPC Folder. Rebooted 10-11 times & not come back, fingers crossed
will see how it goes & runs overnight then format.

Format and resinstall is all good and well as long as the user doesn't have a lot of programs installed and hardware configured, I often encounter jobs where I would rather format but because the user didn't have access to all of their licences/installers or there was such a quantity that a clean is the only time-efficient method (as long as it succeeds). When working on a slow internet connection even downloading iTunes can be problematic and users often give misinformation i.e. they have an obscure program on the machine that holds data and they don't say it needs backing up, after the format they realise it did need backing up!

    Thanks to evilsatan
