    Question Speedtest & Browsers...

    Odd this one.

If I run a broadband speedtest using either IE or Chrome, I get speeds from Preston server of 107Mbps.

If I run a broadband speedtest using Mozilla Firefox, then I get speeds from Preston server of under 50Mbps.

Any suggestions as to why FF reports back slower, every single time, while the other two report faster every single time, even when the tests are done consecutively, seconds after each one in a different browser?

I suspect a problem wth FF on your machine mate. I just did a speedtest through IE and FF on mine and got pretty much consistent results, with IE coming out about 4MB quicker.

    Exactly the same.

Ran FF, no proxy, DL was 44.3Mb/s. Ran Chrome 20 seconds later, and hit 104.6Mb/s DL...
