Been using my Cubot X6 now for 5 days and for £100 I think it's good value for money, as this is my first Android phone for ages I was wondering how it compares with the newish Samsung, Google & LG Android phones for speed in everyday conditions?

    Temptd by the X6.
Is everyone still happy with it?
Does it come with KK or can it be upgraded?
Best place to get it from, DX?

The only thing that I dont like is the touch screen, mine seem to need calibrating as where you touch isn't where the phone thinks you touch it's not out by much but it can be a pain. I got mine from ebay for £99.99 and it had KK on it.

I am made up with the X6 (also from eBay with KK for £99 plus delivery ) as per SS30 above, the calibration seems a little bit out at the bottom right of the screen for some reason. But it's more than adequate.

    Thanks to tips

It might be worth looking at the X9 as well - it's newer and looks like the iPhone 6 and I think doesn't cost much more than the X6

How are you guys finding the GPS? I've read that it can be a bit flakey, i only use googlemaps on the odd occasion so it's not a deal breaker but is it noticeably poor?

Thanks for this, but I have already tried these settings to no avail. Might have to try another network with the dual sim.

Sounds odd. I'm not familiar with the handset but if its Android then it should just work.

Have a flick through this if you haven't already - http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Hel.../td-p/11611251

Failing that, does the handset work ok on WiFi? If yes, does it get an IP when connected via data or do you just get no 2G or 3G connection at all, just GSM?

I'll be attempting to buy the Elephone P7000 tomorrow morning at 10am. I'll let you know what it's like if I get one.

Heads up that at 12:00pm today the flash sale starts on the P7000 for those with no reservation code: http://www.elephone.hk/MerchantSnapActivity.html

Looks like this will be going on a while with other sellers having them throughout the day/days/weeks.

Working out at just over £100 but then £50 delivery!!! Going to hold out. I want to get one as close to the £100 mark delivered as I can..
