    Wanted Car stereo

Anyone got one they don't use or need, cheap as chips, ideally want one with a front usb port, to easily play mp3's, seen a few on fleabay but thought i would try here first.

    Thanks.

I've got my old Sony CDX-GT44IP lying around. It's got a rear USB (it's on a long cable to accessible from the front) plus a front AUX. It's in the original box and has all the leads. Only thing I might not have is the remote.

    £20 + P&P and it's yours.

    Thanks to n00bz0rd2

Just a heads up I bought a media player from eBay for a tenner. No cd slot but USB aux and sd slot. Plays all my mp3 and radios fine. Free PnP top.

Sounds good mate, i'm just a bit put off by the rear usb port, i've had one before and i don't think i could feed the cable through the back of the dash, but i might be getting mixed up with a previous car, let me check again and i'll let you know.

Thanks, looks good that BigBrand and the USB is on the front.

How do you find the sound quality, does the front come off?

My front doesn't come off. It doesn't come with a cage, but it's very light and half the depth you'd expect.

I just leave mine pressed in, and put a small bit of bluetack at the bottom to stop it sliding forwards.

Sound quality is fine, I'm going to use my Phono rears to run to an Amp. Don't expect it'll hold that well, but you never know.

For the cash, you simply can't complain.
