Pac code/unlocking 4s/5s?

Hello chaps. I just went from 4s on Vodafone to 5s on EE. I have my pac code and also the unlock code (Mrs wijit is having the 4s and is on Three).
What order do I need to do this in? Would I port the number, then wait for the port to be complete prior to unlocking, or does it not have to be complete?

Also, does find my iphone make any difference or make the process harder?

iphones dont get a code to unlock they are unlocked by the server. once the unlock request is sent it will take up to 4 weeks to be unlock at which time you plug it into iTunes with another network sim and it will activate it.

Pac code transfer is separate and can be done at anytime even before the unlock as gone through. Just make sure you have requested it to be unlock first in case they want to be funny about it.

I would unlock the phone first, when that's done then port the number.

Porting just moves your phone number from Voda to EE so do that right away so you can use your new phone. I assume you just want to unlock the old phone? Just call up Voda and request the unlock, it will take a varying amount of time as has been said already.
