s2 unlock help

hi

i need to unlock my mrs old s2. ive rooted it and tried the unlock apps but does it need a valid live sim in to work?

its got my mrs old sim which is not registered.

my daughters iphone 4 has packed in but she is on voda so i need to unlock this s2 and put the sim in an adaptor and hopefully getting it working.

I recently used this to Unlock my mothers S2.

Cost about £2.50 via Paypal/Google Wallet if I remember correct.

Someone else tried it about a week ago on here and it didnt seem to work at the time. unlocked mothers phone about 4 weeks ago.
Try it. Nothing to lose.

Ginnerfreak with an S3. S2 should work fine.

thanks but do i need a valid sim in it? i only have a sim that is locked for it , the one that is in it now (my mrs old 3 one ) is now unregistered as she has a new sim. i tried two unlock progams but they failed , i was suspecting it was cos there is no valid sim

it appears to have worked - or at least it says it has ! no sim to try til later
