    Default Outdoor bike storage box

We have very little room in our garden, front or back for a hut or storage box, but our neighbour has said we can use the space next to her garage for a shed or a storage box.

We aren't too fussed about a shed, but we are interested to see if we can find a storage box big enough for our 2 bikes. It would only be the two bikes in the box and nothing more. Obviously the thing has to be able to be mounted to the fence which is there, and be able to be locked. Weather proof would be idea. The dimensions of the largest bike are:

    width - 180cm
    height - 110cm
    depth - 70cm

anyone got anything similar or know of anything that would suit?

Seems about 200mm to small but they was selling for £77 recently so might be worth looking out for.

Are they going to be secure enough for bikes?
I used to use them in work for building Electricity board mains positions but they got more and more flimsy over the years. I would imagine one good kick could break it enough to get to the bikes.

They're not big enough for two bikes anyway. Regardless where we live there is only one entrance, no other means out. so by the time they kicked it open, me and my neighbour would both be awake and out the door.

You wouldn't hear them mate. Seriously, they'd be in, opened, bikes out and gone before you'd rolled over and followed through with a wet fart.

When it comes to bike storage.... ain't no compromise, you need something secure. They're expensive but in the long run, I think it'd be the better option.

Have a look here. Plus they're weather sealed which means no rain on your bikes and no slug/snail shit.

Big block of concrete in the ground for a floor anchor, get some of the heavy hardcore gold grade locks (or just stupid heavy duty chain and job done.

    Hey,

not sure what council you are in but last year I was accepted for a free cycle storage box in the garden as part of an initiative to get more people using bikes for work.

I will try and dig out the details but it is worth looking into as they are solid metal construction and free!

    Thanks to Squizza
