Hi digital people,
I am a new user on this forum and not very digitally minded, so excuse me if I appear slow. I live in southern Ireland and recently bought a Skybox f5s. I set it up using normal procedures but found that while all fta channels came in ok all the sky channels are scrambled. The first thing I noticed when I opened the f5s was a slot in the side which I presume is for a sky card. Since I was not aware of this or told about it when I bought it, and I do not currently have a sky card, I was wondering if this is the problem.
Also, I have mobile broadband, and even when that is plugged into the back of the box, I get the message "Network interface-WiFi, device not found, please plug in.
I have a sky dish, but am not a sky subscriber and receive the ordinary fta channels.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Cheers,
Vince.
