70D back from service....

Finally got the 70D back today, but no time to really test it to see if the service has improved anything - I had only 10 minutes before the evening meal was ready and having got in from work.

Went hunting for a subject and all I could find was a small jumping spider in a dark corner of the bedroom window, and so this was handheld and to almost too dark to really bother with, hence the push in processing to bring it to white from a nasty cream coloured background...

Jumpers are great little spiders and well captured as always Paul. Looking forward to seeing more from the serviced 70D.

Has anybody seen the series about the photo-journalist who bought a piece of a rainforest?
There are some great bits in that where he sets up macro shots of weird insects etc that he has come across..

Apart from that, it's actually a good documentary

PS: I just treated myself to the Canon 100mm 2.8L IS USM macro lens.. I am so looking forward to using that.. (Will sell on my 100mm 2.8 non-L macro)
