Some stunning shots there. You can almost feel the power from the plane in the first photo.

    Thanks to stimpy

I know the detail is better in the first, but I love the clouds in the second.

Excellent pics. Where was it? We were at Woodford air show a couple of weeks ago, some of the planes look similar. Is the top one the Turkish Air Force one? The commentary for that one at Woodford was hilarious.
Ooh, ooh, ooh, the funky gibbon.

    Thanks to funkyg

    thanks for the comment
it was at fairford ( RIAT ) in Gloucestershire last sunday and yes it is the same f16
they just do the rounds at each air show across the country

to be honest i think RIAT has gone down hill since the yanks pulled out last year all the good stuff isn't there any more and at nearly 50 quid a ticket with a 300 mile round trip i don't think i'l be going again or at least i won't be paying the entrance fee there's perfectly good view points from the farmers fields that surrounds the airbase ( 10 quid a car to park ) i'l see how i feel next year

Actually we were at Waddington, not Woodford.
As this was my first one I can't compare it to when the yanks were there but I enjoyed it. We got a free upgrade to one one the enclosures because my step sister works at RAF Waddington anyway.
If you do hang out in the fields around be careful, did you see the video of the Turkish F16 from a couple of weeks ago? He was a bit low! I'll see if I can find it.

    Found it.
