Which operating system for a tablet

A mate has been given a fujitsu tablet at work to trial.
It has come with Win 7 ultimate. He's asked me would it be better with 8?
Any advice or pitfalls??

Windows 8 all the way. It's a touchscreen and windows 8 was designed with touchscreens in mind. Windows 7 on a tablet is horrible.

Win 8.1 on it now, real fucker to do. came up with a memory error, but it was down to the way windows was loaded on the usb.
Hmmm seems to be ok, not sure if i like Win 8. Dont like VLC from app store
