xbox 360 games via hard drive etc

It's been years since i messed with a 360 and i CBA buying loads of bits and bobs again.
I want to be able to play games via the hard drive, kids have tons of originals etc but i want to be able to have loads via a hard drive. What is needed for this?

I did a quick read on here but got lost quickly.

To play from the hard drive, with no disc in the drive, you either need a rgh or a jtag console.

Do you want to get your hands dirty, or do you want to buy a console pre-modded so you just have to plug it in and play?

I cba doing it myself. Did some reading and i am not a jtag guy. I own a 360 so prefer mine to be done.I used to mess about with a jtag for other ummm stuff but cant solder and i just feel its all moved on to much for me now. I managed to flash rom drives in the past for the 360 etc but all the new stuff...na not for me

Ur console wont be able to be JTagged as the XBOX360 firmware has to be very old for the JTag exploit to work :-(

Have the RGH glitches improved now?
Last time I looked they were taking a while (10sec+) to boot up compared to a jtag.

Might be worth you looking at one of the ODDE devices that are about - plug and play, works on Live and easy to use.

can anyone recomend a odde device or know roughly what a good price is for them got an old phat console hanging around with a knackered lens might crack one of them on it
