My boss at work wants to just be able to type in Intranet into the web browser and it take him to the relevant server and webpage
At present they type in http://supportcentre/intranet or http://supportcentre/helpdesk
but as say wants to drop out the supportcentre part
So I can setup a DNS for "intranet" to hit the server but how do I get IIS to redirect from there to the relevant subdomain i.e. Intranet or Helpdesk
Or do I just do it by setting up a default.aspx at the route of the webserver and handle the redirects with that?
Just think there must be a slicker solution the a default page redirect.
Thanks
